Nana and Pop Pop left on Thursday and it was much harder on Mommy than Kacey I'm afraid, I've not, not (does that make sense?) worked out of the home in my entire life and it's a tough adjustment to have noone to talk to but a 2 year old. I now know why Mommies are always so friendly in the stores, they just want to have adult conversation! We went to Chik-fil-a for lunch yesterday and there I was just chatting up the other Mom's at the playground like I'd known them forever!
We finished our anniversary day with a victory popscicle out on the porch and leftovers for dinner with Danielle and Peyton, who is a huge help to me! Kacey loves to run around the house playing with Peyton and as long as she knows where I am I can actually sit and watch them play or unload the dishwasher or fold clothes or do all the other things I haven't done all day long.
Kacey is sleeping great which is really a big help to Mom, she goes to bed at 8-8:30 and sleeps until 7ish with only one brief wake up in 1the night. It's amazing how a couple of good night's sleep strung together can do for a big girl (me).
That's all the time I have now since the Princess is almost done brushing her teeth and we need to start the day. She likes to brush for at least 15 minutes, well she likes to chew on the toothbrush for 15 minutes anway!
More tales from Julie & Kacey soon!

Kacey looks great. My mother just got back from England and one of her first questions was about how Kacey was doing. She is looking forward to reading your blog (she has been without Internet access for 2 weeks while in England).

I fondly remember the days when we were newly home from China and I didn't even have time (or energy)to shower. You sound like you both are adjusting wonderfully. Happy One Week Anniversary!
