Kacey and I are having a blast on our good bye tour, first it was the playdate last night a deck party at the Gale house and next Mommies' night out! Could we have more fun, I don't think so.

Bittersweet...

Kacey hosted her first playdate this past Sunday and it was bittersweet for me, Kacey was clueless! Bittersweet because it will be the last K and I will be hosting in Georgia...we are leaving our dear friends and happy home to move to Florida in May! I've accepted a new position with a wonderful company in the Tampa area that will allow me to work locally most of the time rather than the deal with the extensive travel schedule have now. I'm a world of sad to leave but a world of happy that I can watch Kacey grow-up everyday like a regular mommy. Nana, PopPop and Kacey were doing great while I was gone but I was miserable and a change had to be made the fact that we will be closer to family is also a major plus in this deal.
It has been an honor to make the wonderful friends that I have during my adoption and I'm making a commitment to keeping in touch and make sure that the girls remain friends! I'm also leaving my my dear friend Danielle, mother to Peyton, Jeff & Brooke and wife to Kacey's favorite...HoJo she and I have been best friends since we were 12 years old so I know that we will remain very close but it's been so wonderful living around the corner for the past 4 years I don't know what I'll do without them. The good thing, I'm moving to Florida 1.5 hours from the "happiest place on earth" and I hope that I'll have many visitors down my way!
We are closing a chapter of our lives and starting a new one I certainly hope it's as wonderful as the last!

In search of the elusive perfect haircut....
Kacey and I were at it again this weekend, I took her to the salon to clean up her bangs and try to eliminate the "mullet" look she'd been sporting! Y'all know how Kacey hates strangers with ONE big expception the girl loves getting her hair done we pulled up in the parking long, I told her we were going to get a haircut and she started cheering!!! She didn't smile for the pictures but she was happy as a clam with Ms. Jacci and she got stick-on earrings, a bow and glitter in her hair which just made her day.
We took a little off the back, a lot off the bangs and just a smidge of the sides I see a cute little pageboy in her near future. I myself have been on the hunt for the perfect haircut for the last 40+ years so I'm sure we have plenty of trial and error ahead of us.

Easter & Spring Break
I wanted to get a few pictures up from Easter I'll write more when I have a sec. Life is crazy but lots of fun!!!
